The Disney Cultural Representative Program is Returning!

Today, the Disney Programs Instagram account announced that the international program is bringing back the Disney Cultural Representatives this August!

According to the Disney Programs announcement, the Disney Cultural Representative Program will return in phases. Participants from those countries whose programs were canceled by the pandemic in 2020 can now apply. The initial recruitment will start for the following countries: Germany, Norway, Italy, France, UK, and Canada for EPCOT’s World Showcase. Disney is prepared to bring additional World Showcase countries on board once travel restrictions are removed or CDC vaccine availability expands.

This follows the relaunch of the Disney College Program. Both programs will allow participants to stay at the new Flamingo Crossings Village.

What is they Disney Cultural Representative Program? As part of the program, employees of Walt Disney World from around the world who represent their home country by sharing stories about their heritage, culture, and traditions. The cultural representatives add a layer of authenticity to parks and resorts experiences, especially at the countries at EPCOT’s World Showcase.

Many fans, including myself, are excited for the representatives to return. This is another step towards a pre-pandemic park experience.
